why does this brake booster have 2 brake lines on one side?when i did my install i found out on the brake booster that i have there is a bigger fitting that does on my left side of my master cylinder....im confused..i am not finished with the install yet tho, i just have the booster on...

master cylinder...not booster

the one unit that has the left side line is probably jdm since it would mount on the other side of the firewall

my jdm itr unit

Could be ABS v.s. NON-ABS or different model year.

you need to saw off the side on the fitting of your car and with the big integra fitting; (re-use the big fitting)reflare it. pain in the ass but well worth it.. dont saw off too much, just the old flared portion.

you say its well worth it, what would be the difference between the GSR MC and the RS MC? it seems to do the same thing right.

i got a gsr mc.. cause it was available.. but rs will do the same thing the mc is the same size piston.

only thing is rs you dont have to saw and reflare..

if you got the mushy brake feel with your upgrade,, then hell yeah why not get it to work 100%.. i went without it for a while until, one hot day from school when my pedal went to the floor... 50 bucks is a good investment from an accident....

The RS MC is 15/16 non-abs and the GSR 1" abs. If you use the rs mc you have to use a matching non-abs brake booster. If you go with the gsr mc youll need the gsr abs booster. To use the gsr setup you will have to reflare one of the lines. The rs mc bolts up with no problems, that what I have on my eg.

Sorry I was following this thread and this is kind of an ignorant question but does upgrading your brake booster increase breaking performance?

Re: brake booster install question(already did a search) (DelSolSi93)

It will help with pedal feel and reduce pedal travel needed to engage brakes. By the way not a stupid question. It's something you didn't know and wanted to...called learning my friend.
