Default brake booster help...?!?

So I got rid of ABS but kept the ABS MC and booster and just flared a new fitting onto the none ABS lines. I bled the brakes and all that good stuff, got a stream of fluid to squirt out on all 4 wheels. The brake is still mushy as ****, when i pump it it gets stiff but then it lets out and the car bogs down. If I do this with the car of it gets stiff and then when I start the car it rev's til like 2-3k and then idles fine unless I play with the brake pedel again. Any help would be great, could the little plastic valve between the IM and brake booster be shot by any chance? Thanks

EDIT: If the orderer you bleed the wheels was wrong would it make a big difference? Thansk

If the pedal is mushy while depressed normally, but stiff if it is pumped a few times first, the main seal inside the master cyl. is bad. Fluctuating idle while the pedal is depressed several times is normal. If you hear somewhat of a vacuum leak (air moving) while the pedal is depressed, the booster is leaking internally and needs to be replaced. Test the fluid in the master cyl with a copper testing strip. Or, check to see if there is any black film in the master cyl reservoir.(also signs of the master breaking down)

Tell tale sign: Slowly depress the pedal. Go all the way to the floor?

Pump the pedal fast three times and hold on third. Go to floor?

Yes/no = bad master

No/no = No problem

Yes/yes = Air in line

No/yes = impossible; your lying.

well your answer was wrong but thanks. it ended up being something as simple as the wrong bleeding pattern.
