bov stopped working!! need help pls
I have '99 civic with D16y7 block, Y8 head and intake manifold, T3 turbo.
I was driving home and my bov stopped working, I checked my vaccum lines, all good, and my turbo is still making boost, what could be problem??

The blowoff valve could be stuck closed. When was the last time it was cleaned? Take the unit off the charge pipe, take it apart and clean each piece with a solvent of some sort. Put it back together, trim the vacuum lines a bit and have at it.

Re: (93CharcoalHatch)
How many miles does that bov have on it? Reason I ask is because cheaper ones, especially above 15psi (above 'low boost'), can wear out the rubber seals inside. That seal is what lets vacuum pull the valve open, and boost to help it stay shut. So check the vacuum in the line it's going to as well as the internal rubber bladder, gasket, o-rings, or whatever it uses.
If the spring isn't set very tight, charge pipe pressure can open it. I would also leak boost out of that top seal/vacuum line. BTW what BOV is it?
