What are you running right now? Are you running a white bulb with Lamin-X or Krylon? Do you already have yellow bulbs? Are ya running yellow bulbs with yellow housings?
I have a pair of Luminics bulbs in "JDM Yellow" with clear housings, but I don't really "know" how it compares with yellow bulbs in Japan... I don't care too much. There are several members pushin their product on this site, in the Misc/Appearance forum. I paid $30 for my pair of H3 "JDM Yellow" bulbs with 1 yr warranty (+2 stickers), and got it in 3 bus. days from B16aef9 (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=981215&page=38). But do some digging. I see cheaper prices nowdays.
Are you looking for a darker or lighter hue? Whatever you're looking for, just remember that changing bulbs still might not give you what you want. Be prepared to do a lot of things, like stripping/repainting your housings, buying many (and returning many-1) pairs of yellow bulbs, spending time and $$$...
Let us know..

All auxiliary lights are like that...when you turn on the headlights the auxiliary lights seem to lose their color or turn whiter. It's just a trick on your eye because the headlights are constricting your irises.
