Default bought the wrong coilovers.....now what

I just got a set of the Apexi coilover and found out they are for the 96 and up civics.

I have a 92 si, what do I need to make this work?

The shop never told me they are for the 96, I will try to return it but I try to install already

Thanks

All you need to do is shave the rear lca bushings so that the rear shock will go on. Its a common thing.

they should fit, I had 92-95 shocks in my car once, and they fit with no problem, the only that you might have to do is zip tie the brake line to the shock cause 96-00 don't have the bracket where the brake line bolts up to

the 92-95 has a thicker bushing so 96up rear struts will not fit. 92-95 will fit the 96up w/ washers to shim it. All you need to do is take it to a metal sander and sand off some of the rear bushing so the fork will go over the bushing. It absolutely will do nothing. Don't sand to hard or long, don't want that rubber part of the bushing to melt!

Fronts will work the only difference is one has a bracket for the lines.

or take a porta power and a spreader to the mounting forks for the rear. this will spread them so they slide over the bushing and bolt right on. i did this to a set of shocks off my ek i sold to a dude in a 92 vx. it worked perfectly.
