Bought a 96 dx coupe quick ?s
i bought a coupe yesterday and it has a couple problems but it was a pretty good deal so
im fixing them
first all
the car is lowered on cut springs weak i know
the car steering wheel wants to pull right hard do you guys think its the springs and needs a good alignment ??
second of all when i started the car this morning it idled funny but settled down after a minute or two but then the car started smoking white smoke for another 2 or 3 minutes it was think white smoke you think maybe the head gasket is starting to go ??
your help would really help me start fixing this thing up thanks guys !

if the springs are cut, who knows if they are cut at the same spot on all corners, i would ditch them for oem, then get an alignment. when headgaskets go, its usually blue smoke and the coolant will mix with the oil, white smoke is oil and can be from your valve stem seals

yeah thanks man hopefully its not the gasket do u get any early signs of a head gasket going bad or just happens !! and about the suspension im pickin up coil overs soon !!

big fan of the 96 dx coupe, my aunt had one and thats what got me into the honda scene. my zc swapped crx is having some problems starting, runs great when it does, but when i get it first started it up it throws the white smoke for about half a minute too
