bottom end
i was at the junk yard to day i found a d16a6 bottom end and a d15b7 bottom pistons and crank and all this would be working with a d16z6 going for a n/a maybe n2o later
i was wondering what would be a good street/strip set up on pump gas, whole block with z6 head or pistons(a6 10.4ish, b7 11.2ish) and what rods?
also are all the cranks the same or if i used one of them would i get a lil longer or shorter stroke? just thinking maybe i would get a crank balanced and blueprinted with out down time
thanks

Re: bottom end (93_hatch)
z6 block, a6 or z6 crank (which ever is in better shape, polish it), a6 rods and pistons, z6 head. Done. 10.5:1 a nice exospeed stg 3 cam and some crower springs and you got a peppy d.

Mixing and matching to much can get dangerous. You can run into problems with valve clearance issues and water and oil line issues. But it is a little rare, so if you go for it let me know.
