Both Radiator Fan and A/C Condensor Fan stopped functioning?
I have a turbocharged 2000 Civic Si and both my radiator fan and A/C condenser fan stopped working. A/C unit kicks on but no fan. No check engine lights and both fuses are not blown. What would cause both these to instantly stop working?
They both are spal 13" fans.

I tested the motor of A/C fan by jumping it to another battery source and it turns on fine so the fan motor is working. I have a strong feeling the radiator fan will have same story so it's something else.

Fan control module
Controlls ac fan and cooling fan .
Common problem in Honda's when they get up in age .

Re: Both Radiator Fan and A/C Condensor Fan stopped functioning?
We're at a loss right now. By attaching two wires to the connect directly before the fan we get one hot reading at a solid 12.5 volts and the ground wire is completely grounded with 0 resistance. We connected those to my old stock fan and absolutely nothing? We tested the old fan multiple different ways it spins every time when connecting directly to another power source.
How is this not working when you have a 12.5v hot wire and perfect grounded wire to a fan that we've confirmed works?
This is making no sense.

Re: Both Radiator Fan and A/C Condensor Fan stopped functioning?
Oddly enough it seems it was coincidence that each side the A/C fan and radiator fan electrical systems fried their weakest point which was one oem connector on each that burnt and was creating a lot of resistance. Both were getting solid power nearly around 9 volts but once you connect a fan to them it seemed under load it would drop and wouldn't start at all. After going through connectors to find which was creating the resistance we fixed them and both fans work perfectly now.
