YEP...leave the Bosch for the European cars and forget about all the extra ground straps (+4) they do not enhance performance, they shroud the spark to the intake charge.

" they shroud the spark to the intake charge."

What exactly does that mean?

it means that they block some of the spark to the incoming intake charge reducing the plugs efficiency to ignite the mixture. I'm sure you've heard of people "unshrouding the valves" when porting a head...all they do there is remove some material from the head, around the valve to allow the intake charge to flow better (more efficiently) into the combustion chamber.

You guys crack me up....

I have some Bosh Platinum +4's installed. They're better than the NGKs that have been in there since day one I'm sure because they're fresher, but I want to switch over to some Denso Iridiums ASAP... won't really matter though, to be real nobody will notice a difference.

NGK. When I bought V Power, the old ones that came with my car (used) were the same damn part number. I say get the Iridium ones, cause they'll last longer, and there not that expensive for a part that'll last 100,000 miles, 30$ aint bad. Plus all its pro's and ****, I liked em. Help with a smooth idle. Stick with what Honda says. NGK V-Power or for a few more bucks, theres no reason not to get the Iridium.
The 4 tipped plugs are a waste, and have "bling" appeal, not for performance.

The guys at Autowave laughed at my Bosch plugs - said they were the shittest things on the market... Imposible to tune an engine on a Dyno with them -

OEM all the way for 99/00 SI's - why does anyone think a $4 plug will out perform the $25 stock ones???

you suck.

Like said above, NGK and Denso are THE best plugs for Japanese motors.

If you don't think so, you know nothing.

Bosche plugs are crap.

Exactly, Bosche plugs for Japanese motor ( honda) is crap... check the specs for honda, it say NGK for stock or what ever replacement...

For North American cars is ok i guess it's ok to use Bosche plug of what ever but not for honda man ...

I duno. I have been running Bosche +2's. My opinion, they are crap! Im getting poor idle, a VERY unstable/unpredictable acceleration on every take off, and not to mention... man, let me tell you... if your a student like me who travels... these fawkers eat 2X's the gas than the original OEM's (NGK).

So, I went to the store, picked up some NGK wires and DENSO (resistor style) plugs... installing them tomorrow... before these pieces of shyt *** up my block!

P.s. the guy down the block is a actual mechanic for over 10yrs, he was like, "NGK or Denso ... unless you want some engine work done down the line!" ill go with the mechanice on this one! DENSO it is!

the bosch +4's are also known to have the "extra" electrodes fall off under boosted situations on european cars. You should assume the same for your honda....STAY AWAY!!!!!!! That being said NGK's Are a great plug.
