Re: boosting (Dasavior)
keep it under 200 whp, so depending on turbos and setups, id say go safe with 6 or 7 pounds, prolly 10 at the most if its turned like a ****. i myself am now decided on turboing my d16. check out http://www.turbod16.com its a whole site towards turboing d16's

It means the stock clutch will not hold up to the increased hp

It will start slipping horribly and you wont be able to grab gears as well...then if it gets really bad you can shift gears without using the clutch...then eventually the thing wont grab at all anymore and you'll just rev all day long

Re: boosting (Dasavior)
safely 7-8 but past that you might as well tear the block down and rebuild it to be safe. but i would decide that before you boost how much you really want and what your goal hp is.

Re: boosting (thrty8street)
psi numbers are useless unless you tell us what turbo you will get. the stock block will hold 200-220whp before rods become marginal. Whatever psi it takes you to get to 200-230whp is what psi you should run
