boosted civic ek coupe
Whats up everybody I am getting a civic coupe ek and eventually getting a B18 LS swap for it. but for now I want to boost the stock motor. what should I go with as far as a turbo kit, could i or should i get a junkyard turbo or go with something quality and what should I do to making this turbo work, what do i need as far as parts, and is it reliable?

The obvious answer would be to search this information because these types of questions have been asked a million times already.You should go to the forced induction forum and they have a whole thread on ls turbo.You will see that several people have boosted these motors in stock form.It all depends on your goals,and your wallet as to what kind of turbo kit you should get.Good luck.

ls boosted is a good chioce im gonna run a greedy turbo i wouldnt go any thing junk yard boosting or any thing it will run to lean and eventually blow

It can handle it, but why would you want to spend that money to turbo the D when you are going to swap a B?

Even for something pretty decent and you peice it together, it's still going to be enough over $1000. There's a ton of info on this, and you need to visit the Forced Induction section asap. Research X1000.... Believe it or not, reading actually pays off once you start to become more familiar w/ this info.No one likes to read anymore on this forum. Honda-tech has a lot of good info in it. Look.
And btw, you should stick to just one user name from now on.
