does anyone know how much boost the b18c1 block itself can hold before it has to be sleeved?

you can make 400-500whp. how long it holds up is another issue.

no, it wouldnt be with the stock bottom end. im just wanting to know how much boost the block can hold, not the pistons and rods. i know what they can hold.

it's not really to say how much boost it can handle, since that number is dependent on variables such as turbo size.

it's more of a power number that you're looking for....300whp will last you a good long time. 400+ and you're just gonna be driving on borrowed time.

If you're spending the money to put rods/pistons in it just have the machine work done to the block and have it sleeved while you're at it, no sense in wasting money.

yeah dude... it doesnt matter boost wise, its HP that u gotta ask the limits of.... u could boost 6psi u could boost 16psi depending on turbos blablablablabla, so ur best bet is just askin "how much HP can a stock gsr bottom end hold" or w/e....
