bolt broke off in motor

Default bolt broke off in motor

i put my vtec solonoid on my GSR and the bolt up front of it broke off in the motor... how can i get it out or will it be ok w/o it?

not at this moment... the other two bolts are tight.. it doesn't seem to be leaking

just took the soloniod off and the bolt was right there and i put a pair of plyers on it and got it out

I broke a bolt off the other day and got it out with an EZ OUT

no problem

i didn't use to much tourque but the bolt seemed weak... i should have known better

If its flush with the head and you have access to a welder you can take a nut and weld the inside of the nut to the stud. Then just turn it out with a wrench

when i build a motor of my own i do all three techwrenches from snap on

the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. the problem was fixed with plyers. even though i had two bolts holding it, there was a little oil leak.
