bogging then pull issue with d15z1
i recently bought a 93 civic vx with the d15z1 with vtec-e. lately she has been having a problem with the acceleration. when i start the car i have no CEL. i start driving and she pulls nice in 1st but when i shift into second from 1000rpms to 2500rpms it doesnt want to go smoothly and then it will just start pulling. and in 5th gear it doesnt want to keep accelerating.... it will bog down. i need to run the CEL trick and see if anything pops up. im hoping its not the oxygen sensor because its $400......($300 with my auto store discount )

im getting a CEL for the oxygen sensor.....its a 5 wire and i dont wanna pay $400 for the 7 wire.....is there a way around that? why would it bog because of the o2 sensor?

no i can feel and hear the car having problems when the pedal is fully down. it goes smoothly if its halfway but when its fully down it gets deeper and between 2 and 3k i felt it try to jerk. im thinking its a fuel problem like my b7, its was the fpr last time. i cleaned it out with brake and parts cleaner but i dont think it fixed the problem.

yes i tried unplugging the o2 sensor, its throwing code 1, i replaced the fuel filter with a wix one.

, i have a 1992 civic Vx hatch and its giving me headaches since it wont pass smog due to the machine aborts it, since it loses power and always have to be gassing it, it passes at 10 mph but not at 25 since it doesn't hold a steady speed and idle. its my daily driver and daily headache any help is appreciated
