Bog/Shudders at start up and under acceleration D16z6
I take my car for a spin last night, started the car and the idle was really low. And the engine would shudder and it felt as if i was running on 3 cylinder. The idle is really rough. Then I took it out for a test drive and there was no power in any rpm. I tried to rev the engine up but it keeps on bogging. If I ease off the gas, the engine would seem like it would die off. This is a stock D16z6 engine with no mods. It would idle at 200-500 rpm. Which is totally low.
I was thinking maybe it has something to do with the spark plugs or the spark plug wires itself. What do you think?

Did you set the timing correctly? Is the timing advancing properly? Seems related to the "dizzy" if the symptom started immediately after replacing the thing.

Well, that might be it. But I made sure the crank pulley and the cam gear is TDC. But I didnt do timing for the dizzy yet. Or could it be that it may have bad spark plugs, wires, or the cap?

If you just took the one out and slapped the other one in it's probably not set right.
Go get the timing gun out.
