when im going down a steep driveway sideways, i can hear the back end of the car [c pillar area] creaking like an old wood floor.

my car is a 96 civic coupe with stock suspension and a front strut bar. just wondering if im the only one with this weird problem. my 94 GSR did it too and it had a front and rear strut bars. any thoughts? solutions perhaps?

sure its not the shocks/spring assembly not squeaking?
You may want to neatly spray WD40 into the shock/spring assembly and that should eliminate the squeaking.

We drive civics..... like it or not they are still JUST civics. Bottom of the barrel my friend. My last civic did it and my new one does too. It's just a fact of life.

I still love my baby though.

i think it just happends if your unlucky...hahaha j/p...i've only noticed a few cars ive been in have done it...maybe its the bushings? grease anyone!

i think all civic do that but u dont notice it cuz u got all them sound deadoning tars and carpets and ****...once i stripped mine thats when i noticed it more.

mine does it too but i think its not a problem some wd-40 wont solve

my 96 hatch does the same thing... when driving with the radio off it sqeaks like crazy. it creeks when going up and down driveways and even when im just cruising on the road, gets really annoying.

i thought it was the interior panels, so i took off the cover for where the bolts for the wing are and it still squeaks. i'm on sk2 coilovers with crappy stock shocks and a RR sway. i know for a fact it's not my sus.

i want to know how to stop the squeaks/creeks too.. anyone?
