Body panel Dmg

Body panel Dmg
My 97 civic dx has pretty extreme body damage to the right rear side body panel (starts behind the passenger door, goes all the way back to the trunk/rear quarter panel ) Body filler and lots of sanding? or Buy new pannel? Suggestions?

post a pic, if its as depp as im inagining, pull it out the best you can and THEN when its just wavy metal, tap it flatter with a body hammer and then bondo it

yeah we need a pic to determine what to do. if it's as bad as it sounds you'll need a new quarter panel. quarter panels are easy to do if you have some experience. replacing it would be a better repair, you'll only have mud on your seems instead of the whole quarter.
