body kit installation
i just bought a spiderman II/black widow II body kit for my 93 civic coupe. I dont know anyone who has ever bought and installed their own body kit before, all my friends payed outrageous prices to have theirs professionally installed. i have done some body work before and i was wondering if it was hard to install body kits and how to go about doing it. any help givin is greatly appreciated.

You're going to want to go ahead and sell the **** out of that and put the money towards a CAT scan and some special-boy medication. Seriously: what goes through someone's head before they buy such a rediculously ugly piece-of-**** for their Civic?

depends where you bought your kit. Some kits require alot of modifications and some are direct fit.

Same **** that goes through peoples heads when they buy a lip, or a JDM headlight, or a duck bill or whatever the **** people buy. Its personal perference so leave this dude alone.
Anyway to install the kit (if theres no holes) your going to have to pick up some Self tapping screws that you could get from any Hardware store, and have a friend help you hold it up. Then screw about 4 (minimum.) of them on the top and then drill the side top part that connects to your fender and put a screw in there.
For Side skirts its the same thing, just add the screws to your original side skirts and open the door and lift the plastic thats under and drill holes so the plastic could go over it.
Then for the back bumper do the same as the front bumper. Hope that helps.

Re: body kit installation (JDM PRO)
Arch, play nice.
And no, there are NO bolt on kits. They may claim to be, but they are GOING to require work to fit correctly. If it's fiberglass you're going to have to do glass work, and if it's urethane I don't honestly know how to make it fit right other than heating/bending it.
