Are blox and skunk2 upper control arms exactly the same?
Okay heres the deal. I have a 92 hatch and im tryin to figure out if the blox camber kit (upper control arm) is the same as skunk2. i can get a blox camber kit for cheap so thats why i ask. now this may seem too general but its more specific than it may seem. basically im trying to figure out if just the arm (not the ball joints) are the same material and completely identical. the reason why i ask is becasue i was looking at the sk2 pro series camber kit and noticed that the only difference between the tuner (classic) and the pro series was the ball joint. so couldn't i just buy the pro series ball joint and put it on the blox camber kit? because wouldn't this make the blox a pro series? (sorry for the long essay haha)

yes its the same exact material, except painted differently. and, correct me if im wrong, i dont think there is any real gain installing the skunk2 pro ball joint in place of the Blox one. and im sure a lot of people will freak out at the following : but IMO, your better off buying an ebay set from k2motor for $50. again, its painted differently, but the materials and such are all the same. i have them installed on mine, and they work perfectly., at the same time, i also used energy suspension upper control arm bushings. obviosly, if you can get the blox set for less than $50, then that would be my pick

The Pro Series upper balljoint and plate for the set screws is 100 times better than the old top-allen head design. the old design, which I believe Blox still uses, allows for the allen bolts to potentially strtch the slots in the upper arm itself and thus eventually wear them/wallow them out which renders the arm junk.
I've still got OG Skunk2 camber kits on my 1992 Civic, and have replaced the balljoints once years back, but I always make sure my allen bolts are tightened properly. i actually check mine fairly regularly.
If you ever leave those allen bolts loose or they work loose you're proper screwed - I've seen it too many times to ever endorse the old design again.
