Default Blown Headgasket?!?! Opinions needed!!

Ok so in the process of swapping my B16 out of my hatch into my coupe I came across a little situation...

Ok so my car never overheats, no white smoke out the exhaust during idle or full throttle, car doesnt feel sluggish or anything like that, no bubbles in my radiator fluid when i leave my rad cap off and let car run and my oil isnt milky at all..

When the coolant was draining from the hatch i noticed oil in it.. maybe a quarter of a quart maybe even less in there and it didnt come out until it was almost done draining...

When i changed my oil right after i drained the coolant it was just under 4 full qquarts that came out

So im just wondering if theres any other way that oil could get into my coolant without a blown headgasket.. i did a few searches and my car shows no other symptoms of a blown headgasket besides the oil in the coolant

I have a leaky cam seal and i think that my rear main seal might be leaking a little bit but other than that motor is solid with low miles and i dont beat on it...

any help / suggestions of other things to check would be a huge help..

Thanks in advance

put it in the car. put fresh fluids in and drive it around for 2 miles or so and check the fluids.
its better than "take off the head and check"

the only other option i'm aware of besides the headgasket leaking oil into the coolant is a crack in the block or the head (or the porosity phenomenon, but that seems to be on certain engine models only).

yeah that's never a fun one. i hope i'm wrong for your sake.

the porosity thing had something to do with a flaw in the block casting.. i've only been told about it, never seen it first hand. the way it was described to me (by a highly experienced Acura master tech...): you would look at the side of the block and it would look like it was sweating coolant! no visible crack or anything.

hmm and that would cause oil to get into the coolant?

if it were in an area between an oil passage and water jacket... nothing more than a theory though.

Sometimes it can be a small leak, I never had major issues when my headgasket was leaking but I did have dispappearing coolant. Once it was replaced my coolant stop disappearing.

why you don't do radiator compression test? At least you can confirm there is a leak.

Take it to the Midas in JC. I had them do one for me a few years ago. Really quick and cheap test.

Can you swap a headgasket on your own? It's definitely not something for a beginner (dunno your experience)
