blown d15b to d16z6 swap questions.
Hi HT,
I am swapping my jdm d15b to a d16z6 that I'm building into my 93 hatch. I saw some small differences that I wanted to address really quick and see if anyone can help me out.
I noticed after i took the IM off of the d15b that the metal tube that goes from the water pump to the thermostat housing has 1 extra "outlet" (cant think of the word for it, its the place where a hose would hook on) that leads to the IACV. Its on the end closest to the pump itself. the d16z6 doesn't have this. Where would the hose that goes to the IACV come from on the d16z6? i know one comes from the FITV but the other one would come from some form of coolant source, where would this be on the d16z6? I'm guessing I would have to "T" the hose that comes from the thermostat to the IM?
Can someone help me out with this? I'll try to post a picture if this doesn't make sense.
