teh flange side goes to your intake piping after the turbo and IC. The nipple that is provided goes to a vac source on the intake. what BOV are you talkign about anyway?

also, would the welding make a difference? for example if i cut a hole in the charge pipe and stuck the flange a little lower than the charge pipe surface, will that make a difference? thanks for the reply....

Re: BLOW OFF VALVES...??? (5thgencivic)
I placed mine before the throttle body but after the intercooler. Run a T off of your brake booster line (between the intake mani and the check valve). Find me a picture and I'll show you where to put it all. With that said, when I put mine it it was a TiAL and it was stuck shut. I put it on a vaccum pump and had to pump it to almost 120 cm/hg3 before it came open.
