Block stamp question
Hey h-t, when I had my h22 I smashed my oil pan up really bad and had to replace it. When I did that I noticed the block was stamped p13. Do all honda blocks come stamped with the relative code? Like my 1st gen b16a should be stamped pr3 and a 2nd gen b16a should be stamped p30 correct?

Re: Block stamp question
So you're asking of the block has a code relative to the matching ECU?
You sure it's the block and not the head? Because this is what info I got based on a quick google :
http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...d.php?t=352184
If that is your question, no head codes aren't relative to ECU's.

P13 head = H22a1, H22a2, H22a4, H22a5, H22a8, All H22a (excluding Type-S & S-SPEC)
P5P head = H22a (Type-S & S-SPEC)
PDE Head = H22a7 (Accord Type-R)

Re: Block stamp question
Yeah down on the bottom of the block near the bell housing I believe was p13 on my old h22a. I did the research but only came up with a few not complete answers
