Blinking Oil Light!
I just got my car back from the swap, it runs great, the only thing that is odd is that when the car is cold, the oil pressure light will turn on for about a 30 seconds during start up, then will turn off, then when i start driving, the light flickers on and off. Its really odd. I have full oil, Im thinking that my sending unit went bad, im gonna hook up a manual gauge to make sure. Any help would be greatly appreciatied. Thanks in advance....

if its not the sending unit your motor will blow soon , you should NEVER drive the car with the oil light on....... your oil pump could be taking a ****

If the place you got the swap done at has a warranty I would take it back to them right away. Usually when you order up swaps they come with some kind of startup warranty and most have warranties for broken sensors and stuff. You should definetly get it figures out quick. Ohh yeah and dont drive too much on it....better safe then sorry. Yeah your idea of hooking up a gauge is a good way to see if your oil pump didnt take a **** on you.
