BLEW MOTOR today...swap time
i have a 96 civic hatch cx... i wanted to get a teg, but i think i want to just hook up the hatch....it sounds like it would be more fun... if anyones got a lead on some motors, i would greatly appreciate it...leaning toward a b18c1, or b16a2, if anyone could verify that a 99 si motor will swap in, and perhaps show me a picture or two, that would be greatly appreciated, i need all the info i can get, and what do you guys suggest i pick up...i need to do this like last week...this is my daily driver...thanks alot guys....

Re: BLEW MOTOR today...swap time (Grengostarr)
99 si will fit just as good as a GSR motor will. both requier the 99-00 SI rear mount.
if it was me, i would go with the GSR.

pick up an ib crate motor. if you have the money, haha. but i would pick up he b18c, or the b16a2, best bang for the buck. try hondamotorsonline.com, or nipponmotors, etc. this has been coverd billions of times, you should search for it.

Go for the gsr. 1.8L. Dont waste on a b16. And make sure to get a manifold. If you can get a skunk2 manifold. Good luck.
