The kit will contain a headgasket, intake/exhaust valve stem seals, maybe a few other assorted seals, and probably your valve cover gaskets.
If you're just looking to fix the headgasket issue, get the headgasket alone, and get the valve cover gaskets... it should come out cheaper than the whole kit. If you buy from autozone, make sure it's a fel-pro gasket... I've had no problems out of mine for 30K+
