bleeding brakes
What is the proper way to bleed the brakes, because I've bled them like 6 times already and my pedal still goes to the floor. Could there be something wrong with the master cylinder??? Brake booster is fine i know for a fact. I took all the brakes lines off to spray my engine bay. Could it be theres a lot of air in the lines or am i not doing it right???
TIA, Tim

You may have to pump the pedal a few times to get the air from the master cylender to the wheels. Don't move the pedal to rapidly either.

First of all it's
1. passenger rear
2. driver front
3. driver left
4. passenger front
Try that and see how it works.

Furthest to closest is the traditional thought and covers most cars. Its just some newer ones that are different.
If your pedal still goes to the floor after some time with pressure applied, My guess would be on a leak or a bad Master cylender.

it sounds like you may have a fluid leak, fill the car up and park it somewhere. leave it there for about an hour or two and come out and looks for fluid on the ground.

Do you lose fluid? It'll take a lot of time. Brake fluid don't flow to fast. Rear wheel cylenders can leak too, and you won't see it for a while because it builds up in the drum. See if you can find a manual that will give the proper bleed sequence, and make sure you don't move the pedal to fast. Did you try searching? someone else might've had this problem before too.

Re: (instrument)
Hey why dont you read the thread first you make no sense? I have brake fluid in the car and bleed the brakes then wash the engine bay to see if the lines leak. The outside of the lines themselves are dry. READ before you type next time.
Thank you
Thank you

The engine bay? You're lucky if you get all the air out after replaceing the Master Cylinder by only bleeding at the engine bay. You've got to go the calipers and bleed the rest of the air out there.
