sounds like it was just carbon getting blown out.
if you just putt around town and then all of a sudden take her up to redline, most likely you'll blow out some black smoke.
blue smoke is what you have to worry about.

it might be true if you park your car for a year...
black smoke = runnin rich, you got too much unburned fuel, and therefore it's spittin out the exhaust...what are you mods? if you have a FPR, check your pressure...

that black smoke is acutally a dark grey if its spuddering out unburn d fuel..white is water and black is where any oil might be getting into if uve already blown out all ur carbon buildup
