Black Liquid coming from exhaust help please
This just started today...engine doesn't seem to want to turn over, but after i give it a little gas it starts fine...and seems to run fine. It seems i'm not losing oil...but the pics will show more then i can explain.
Big pics cause i didn't have time to resize
Liquid inside the exhaust?!
What it looks like when i rev...it spits right as it lowers back to idle levels.
Oil level seems fine...
Caught some
On paper:
Real watery :
Thanks in advance for any help...

Are you sure its oil and not just some really dirty water? IM only asking this because it looks waters and used oil doesnt really do that.
BTW, looks like ur in need of an oil change. Black oil is bad oil

I just changed it 500 miles ago
I don't think it's oil but how would water like that be getting in there?
Why would this suddenly start now?

yea my car did that right before it blew a head gasket. and shot black water all over the back of the car.
i think all the coolant was washing all the "juice" out of my engine and exhaust and put it on my back window and bumper so i could admire it.

That's all I can think of too, But I don't know why it would be watery

cars do that when they're running rich,
I htink its part condensation, maybe part unburned fuel?
but my car was running richer than any i've ever seen and it didnt produce nearly as much liquid as yours does!
I mean.. .. DAMN!

Try investing in that SEAFOAM ****. I heard it blows out mad smoke and cleans out the combustion/carbon build up. IF u need more info, there is a couple write ups on it, just search under SEAFOAM.

water is a biproduct of combustion... most cars shoot water out the tail pipe and the water most likely catches carbon... does it do it when its warmed up too?

might also be antifreeze from a blown gasket getting into the engine. very dirty antifreeze looks just like that and is very watery

how could i check this? this seems logical seeing as how it wouldn't burn and would cause my car to have trouble starting correct?

i live in indiana and we have some hella weather changes here. one day it can be 65 and the next day it could be 30. sometimes its just the condisation attaches its self to the carbon build up on the exhaust and comes out in one

If its antifreeze, u could try testing it in an Anitfreeze tester. If it has a/f in it, it might register the temp of it. If it does register, u have a blown gasket. This was happening to a 73 buick engine is school once. I ripped it apart and rebuilt it. The seals were completely shot. BUt it wasnt as bad as yours.
Also try that seafoam ****. It might be from ur cat or that resivor thing after the cat but before the muffler. If something broke or got fucked up and clogged it then just now it cleared threw.

Re: Black Liquid coming from exhaust help please (QuikJaysun)
i you take short trips you will build up condensation in the exhaust, honda motors are notorious for rusting exhaust sytems from the inside out. I would say you have nothing to worry about. Blow that **** out a there and runs something to clean your pistons. BTW your oil is really black for 500mi
