Black was a factory color ONLY on the Si model here in the U.S, so normally you will not see a black 1992-1995 hatch w/o the moldings since the Si had the moldings.

...Now I'm sure someone has painted his or her CX or VX black, right?

Maybe someone took off their side moldings on an Si?

i thought that there was the pearl black color for the cx's or something like that.. pearl something.. but it was black.

nope.. the SI was the only hatch that was black.. the cx, and dx had a dark grey color that might be mistaken for black at night or something..

yea you are right, the factory color is called phantom grey pearl, not black. But it looks black whenever i see my friend's cx.

as you can see in the picture of my hatch, on the bottom of my window the peice was chipping so i just took all the stuff off with dremel, it came out fine i just dont like it and was wondering if anyone knew the part number or what it is called so i can order it

that is my old eg and yes they are ssr's, they are 15's. please dont buy replicas the ssr's are wort the money. thanks for posting that for me superdragII

15's huh?? Sure look like 16's to me. What aspect tire are you running there if they are 15's?? Those aren't no 205, even 195 / 50's.

I had the 15x7 SSR Type C/Competiton wheels on my car for an auto-X event (borrowed from a friend) and they looked just like that on my car as they did on thrashin's car.

Looks like 15's to me.

...And by the way, SSR comps aren't really all that expensive. They are like $225.00 per wheel from the Tire Rack, which is nowhere near the SPOON-like prices that you may think of when you see such a nice wheel as the SSR Comp.

Those wheels weighed 9lbs. even - we weighed them on a digital scale.

That's wierd that you mention that, because I knew this guy who had an eye problem where every time he saw a wheel, his eyes made him see a wheel that was actaually one size bigger.

Yokohama 509?

I'm not familiar with that tire. Where'd you get them and waht were the stats for them? I was running on 195/50/15 Yokohama AVS-intermediates and those tires ruled.

The AVS had like 160 treadwear. What's the 509 got? Is there another name for it besides 509? Like the ADVANs can also be called A032R, etc.

no there is no other name, the 509s are an old discontinued tire. to give you an idea of how old they were before the 510 which was discontinued before the 520 came out. the 509s were THE ****, even better than the avs intermidiat IMO, the tread wear on the 509s is 120 , super sticky
