It's called the "devil pin 666" at my house. Once you deal with them 4-5 times they are cake, though.

Don't they make a modified C- clamp tool that removes the bitch pin very easily?

The right punch and a sledge hammer will do the trick! I've done so many that way and had no problems... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
ps It helps if your car is about 2 1/2 to 3 ft off the ground. |
Re: Bitch Bolt from shift linkage to Tranny please help!!!!!! (Blue-Civic-Hybrid)
I seem to be able to get it out easy, if i use a good punch. The punch needs to be about the same size as the hole, on the shift linkage. just my 2 cents

8mm non tappered punch is your friend when removing the "bitch pin"

Re: (DFW)
dont understand why everyone thinks that is such a bitch to get out word of advice to all get a 92-95 civic ac compressor bolt you know the one that bolts it to the block and use it to remove the pin its the perfect size and does no dmg to pin
