bisi piston/rod combo in boosted b16c4
Hi guys i'm building a b18c4 turbo for my ej2 project.
I've done a lot of research on what pistons and rods to use.
I was settled on the tried and tested eagle rod, possibly with cp's, maybe wossner if funds are tight.
Then i checked out bisi, with dollar to euro i can get both for just over 500 euro ex. shipping !!
My question is has anyone,or know anyone with experience with these parts on boosted application ?
I've searched all day but i can only bring up results for is f series sohc builds !

I would stay away from Bisimoto or anything from his shop. It's been proven that he sources his products from china, and actually does little to no R&D. He treats his customers poorly, his headers are a joke, and I certainly wouldn't trust any engine internals from them.
Spend the extra money and go with something tried and true.

There's one important factor you're leaving out. What are you building towards, and what are your final goals? I'm personally going to be picking up some Pauter X beams and some CP pistons, but I'm aiming for 800+. Different styles of beams, and different pistons, handle power loads differently.
For pistons, I wouldn't go anywhere but CP. For rods, there are only a handful of companies out there that make great products.

2LEM1 you ain't kidding. there site says only sold with engines they build or heads !!
JBPNOMAN....here's the plan/goal.
Goals-300whp, with capability to run more for trackdays.
Obviously i want reliability not a ticking time bomb.
It wont be a daily driver but it will be used atleast 5k miles a year.
I'm gona be using a go-autoworks street x with a batmowheel bullseye power.

for ~300whp, my combo of choice would be CP pistons with Carillo rods. Reliable as hell, and for what you're getting, they're relatively inexpensive.
Just remember, you have to pay to play. There's a reason some parts are cheaper than others.

Interesting! They used to sell them separately, I'm sure Larry got sick of hearing about problems with misinstalled pistons. I bet if you called Endyn and sweet talked them they'd sell you a set.
Honestly, with your power goals, I see no reason a set of SRPs wouldn't do you fine.

Did you look at Wiseco? They are just as good as CP IMHO, and probably cheaper.
If you're old enough to remember Jeff @ Import Builders, he used Wiseco pistons and modified them. Same with Endyn. Wiseco is one of the best piston manufacturers there is.

Forgot to mention,
Wiseco have their own IN HOUSE million dollar PLUS forges. They use unique forgings for EACH and every vehicle they produce pistons for. They use oil ring retainers to keep the oil rings in place (no gap line up). They also use Nippon rings, which are an OE manufacturer for many OEMs like Honda, Nissan, Etc.
