Default Bilstein HD or SP?

I was checking out prices and I looked at the Bilstein website for some shocks and the specifications say HD. Which is contrary to what my friend told me. He said I should go with the Sports because they are shorter.

Yes, go with the SP's although when doing so you will have to run itr lower control arms since they only make the sp's for the type R. That is what I run and I love em. The Sp's do have a shorter stroke so they are suited better for lowering springs. Where as the HD's are really an alternative to stock struts and don't do as well when using a low spring. Not only that but the Sp's can handle upto 600lbs/in in stock form. And if you want you can get the revalved too, plus they have a great warranty.
