ok i have a eg with a jdm b16a swap. it runs great through the gears 123 but around 100 mph it wont pull through vtec anymore and in fith gear around 100 it seems to miss fire or something. seems to me as a distributor problem or fuel???io have no idea.. please help. if you need more info then ask. thanks alot.

its definatelyyour distributer! Guranteed! Do you have an MSD???? I had the same problem when i connected my MSD. the wires that went to the igniter would keep getting loose. Take off your distributer cap and look at the wires. It should be that.

it shouldnt be cutting fuel at that speed, but i dont see how much its gonna actually pull at that high of speeds, especially in 5th gear.

and i hope your not doing those speeds on the highway

please tell me thats on the track

well 4th and 5th gear arent supposed to pull like the other 3. but if it literally wont go past your 100 mph mark regardless of what you do then its not fuel. do you have a huge body kit that air can just get caught up in a slow you down??

I dont know how it would be ignition cause that isnt related to speed as it is rpm.

Why the expletive are you going 100+ miles per hour to begin with? I know your shitbox B16 Civic doesn't trap near there in the quarter.
