Better to rebuild or do mini me.
My civic came with the stock b7. I was going to swap a complete d16y8, that I bought for car but I found out the block needs work and all new internals. My question is at this point what is the thing better to do. Rebuild the d16y8 or just do the mini me sawp?
My b7 has 195,000 on it (and the clutch :s) I wouldn't normally think of doing this on a motor that old, but it ran great at the track the other day and even beat another eg with a d16 in it.
I know since I have both the d15b7 and d16y8 I most of the parts ready to go. I also have a p28 ecu that I got from phearable.net that was set up to run the d16y8, Will that work for the mini me?
TIA for any advice you can give me towards this.

Re: Better to rebuild or do mini me.
Anyone?
I'm just asking if it's worth putting in the work to do the mini.
I'm only looking for 150hp or so in power. And how well they work together. I want to be sure it will last.
