What year/years do you think honda made the best civic, both performance and looks.

All civics are anemic from the factory. Stock handling characteristics are probably best in an EH2 CX hatch. Power is probably best in a d16y8 or z6 EH2.

To me a 2000 civic dx hatch. I will never get tired of that body style.

And auctually if we are talking both jdm and usdm cars then I would have to say that the 2000 civic type r is the best to me as far as looks and performance.

and power is best in a b16a for america, and a b16b for everyone else

Looking at it from the "Hot Rod" perspective. 1st G5, 2nd G6, 3rd G4.

Like the old Chevys. Everyone mod a 56 or 57 Chevy. Some do 54. But you don't hear people mod 58 Chevys when the car was actually "better" in every way - bigger, more hp, etc.

86 si is by far one of the best handling...and it stays with newer i teg ls's, i wouldnt give mine up for anything

I love my 96 civ. EX... I think 96-00 were the best looking years and the coup looks better then at hatch. Thats just my oppinion, as far as performance goes, I have never drivin another year civic, well except a 2001 civ Ex automatic. I wasnt impressed....
