Best way to remove exhaust manifold studs on '95 ex?
So I had a stud break on me before I even fully torqued the nut down...
Guess I can't expect everything to go smoothly on a 15 year old engine.
Half of it is still sticking out of the head but I was wondering if anyone on here had some suggestions on removing it. Are these things thread locked (Red) at all? Would it be better to put a Tap & Die set to use here or get some vice grips and get a good lock on the stud and turn in loose? And would it be best to try and remove it when the motors heated up or cold?
It's #22 on this diagram for some clarification:

try vise grips. or go get an easy out. should come out of the head pretty easy if not just put some heat to it. it happens all the time
