Default Best way to remove bolts holding caliper on?

What is the best way to remove the 2 bolts that hold the front brake caliper on? It is a 99 Civic HX, and I am trying to replace the rotors, and cant get these bolts off. I dont have air tools, just common hand tools, and a pretty big torque wrench. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You shouldn't need air tools to begin with. I just replaced my stock CX calipers on my 93 civic with gsr calipers and those 10 year old bolts came off pretty easy. Your car is only 4 years old, just put some muscle into it.

I just used a breaker bar, mine came right off.

If you don't have a breaker bar then you can find a piece of pipe to fit over the handle of your ratchet to give you more leverage.

I used 1/2in ratchet and some human torque. The drivers side I was actually able to lift some of the car up @ bit then the bolts broke loose, the passenger took the most muscle.

You have to remove the 2 bolts holding the caliper to the mounting bracket, and once those are off you need to remove the 2 bolts holding the bracket onto the hub in order to remove the rotor.

And I was talking about the bracket.
