I looking to build a NA d series with just stock parts. I've got a D16y7 and a Z6 sitting in my garage and I just looking to build a nice NA SOHC for cheap and good reliability. yeah I know the two kinda go against each other but what the hell. I thinking on the usual JDM DOHC pistons and rods but what about what model for the headgasket I should use to keep it streetable and not have to worry about a superhigh CR. Would something under 13:1 be streetable like something in the 12's? If you've had some good results with a nice NA on stock parts post your setup. The only thing that's gonna be aftermarket will be a DC SS 4-1 header and a maybe a CAI but I may just go with a homemade CAI and just the stock intake and a K&N drop-in filter and make it a CAI.
