Toyo T1-S is a good street tire. I ran a few track days on them. They're nothing compared to R-compounds for track, but they were decent.

I've got Yokahama Paradas, they grip good in the weather and when it is hot and dry, i'll find out how they are in the snow soon....

i hear Potenza S03's are good too, more pricy though.
yokohama avs es 100. best for the price. a bit more than the azenis (3 - 9 bucks) but will last longer.

My Kumho Ecsta's are pretty decent for street so far, but no track time (1/4).
All my friends are picking up Azenis and saying that they "can't" lose traction sometimes even when they push it. So I'm gonna try some Azenis next

if your willing to compromise some wet traction Azenis are the best for the price.
disadvantages= 200 treadwear rating, not good in poodles/ heavy rain. Great summer tire tho.
I have es100's and love them. I don't seriously autocross but I love taking the cliffside twisties and am very satisfied with the performance. If you are serious about autocrossing go with Azenis, all I hear are great things about how well they hold the car down. Just keep in mind that they are considered summer tires.

If it's 1/4 mile you could always do Nitto Drags in the front. I had always heard they are very bad in the rain but last night I put them on since I was gonna use my wifes car today. Well of course she needed her car and I had to drive in very bad rain to work this morning and they pulled better in the rain than my all seasons on my gsr's. True they can hydroplane pretty easy but overall I was impressed on how they corner and go in the rain.
