Best ride quality / Driving experience?
So, i've been doing the gutted 92 CX thing for awhile now, really nimble great braking and what not (The thing is like 1900lbs so..)
But i'm thinking of selling it and picking up something alittle more civilized.
My question is, what would make the best daily driver? Integra? Civic SI?
I've been looking at a 2000 civic SI, but I figured i'd petition you guys for some feedback. I don't really want to get anything too new, my budget would be like 8k ish on the high end.

What year SI? I figured 2000 would be optimal since its the last year of the chassis, and the bugs would be worked out at that point.
But i've also read reviews saying the SI sacrifices ride quality over the lesser models as well..
And I figured an integra would be better, just because it's an acura, which is supposed to be a step up. I guess not though.

expensive honda (when it came out)
VS. a cheapER acura (when it came out)
go with the Si, ive driven both
Acuras Ok but the civics better

92-00 civic's and 94-01 integras have the same exact suspension. the 2000 civic is basically the same (wishbone suspension). if you are looking for a daily driver, why spend 8K? you can get yourself a reliable car for less.

well that just seems to be what the later year SI's are going for (8k) is there really any difference that would make me want a 2000SI over a 1996 SI?
I've been leaning towards an SI, this is kind of solidifying it for me.

So true. You (ThinkRevolution) said it didn't have to be new as well.

Ummm, they didn't make a 96 Si. I just got a 2000 Si and it's fun to drive. It' handles good, and is a comfortable ride. I haven't had any problems with mine yet, I got it with 105k on the clock and it's at 116k right now.

I picked my '99 EX up for $4600 with around 120 on the odometer. You can always go that route and have a low boost running if you really want the extra HP while maintaining a reliable DD.

I have owned both 2000 integra GSR and a 2000 Civic Si. The Si is not quite as fast, but IMO it is just a lot more fun to drive. Both cars are great and i doubt you will be disappointed with either choice, but the Si gets my vote.
