Default Best Pressure plate for NA D16z6?

My pressure plate is in dire need of being replaced has some nasty burn marks in it when i replaced the clutch plus it kinda chatters sometimes when engaging. In my ls i had, i used a light flywheel and i loved the throttle response on it. This my first sohc motor that i actually kept in the car so i was wanting some input from you guys on the weight of the flywheel i should get. D16z6 N/A used as a daily driver and occasional playing around, should i stay in the 11-14lb range or should i drop down some? What are the drawbacks on getting a lighter flywheel on a smaller motor?

a lighter flywheel will make the car jerk back and forth. ...ittts so f*n annoying.
i have a kswap with a 10lbr and it wont let me creap in 1st and 2nd. i guess it gets better when the clutch is warn in a bit. but....man i sux.

jus be ready man the car and deal with the embarresment of a rodeo honda.
but then again a smaller engine like the D16 you should be fine jus dont go lower then the 11lb flywheel. also clutchs are dif weights too

also in the rain i cant start from a stop at a redlight or stop sign without doing a burnout/kicking rox. its either stop or go.

hmm, ok thnx for the input, i'll try to find one around 11lbs, i wanted to replace it when i put in a new clutch, but money wasn't plentiful when i did it lol. With a lighter flywheel and a lower torque motor would it lose a good bit of top end? I guess it doesn't really matter tho its a dd

Its not that you gain any power. The motor is just spinning less weight. You might feel like it has less low end. Your engine will have less momentum everytime you have to slow the engine or start from a stop. You will have to rev the engine a little higher just to get moving. I personally don't like them but everyone has their own taste. I like being able to release the clutch in first under 2000rpm. Makes for a smooth start.
