Re: Best place to mount Torque Damper!
The best place to install it would be returning it, honestly. Unless you buy a high quality unit (NRG is definitely not high quality) they are unreliable, and unless you're running a modified engine in a track-use car, a waste.
If you're still insistent on getting your bay bling on, Google found this in 5 seconds.

Then honestly, don't waste your money on a torque damper. If you want (and actually understand) what a torque damper gives you, get the Ingalls unit. They actually do their own design and testing, and last I heard if something breaks, they'll replace it.
Alternatively, you could get polyurethane mounts/inserts for roughly the same effect.

Generally speaking, one bracket attaches to the passenger or driver side motor mount, and the other bracket attaches to the strut tower. The damper goes between the brackets.

I bought one of those about 5 years ago. It worked but the POS kept coming apart. Then I got a set of Hardrace motor mounts and torque mounts and the thing became useless.
There's only one place to mount those so I don't even know why you're asking as if you had options.

You don't get to pick though. The hardware that comes with it will determine where it gets mounted.
