Best mounts for daily driver b20 in 94 ej?
I’m shopping for mounts for my b20/ej swap but all the performance mounts typically state that it will increase the amount of vibration from the motor to the chassis.
Im hoping to find a mount for a daily driver style swap. Any one know if Hasport or Innovative has a soft rubber?

It's all in perspective.
60a innovative 62a hasport is like stock to some, too much for others.
Some people run(or say they run) 80a mounts.
Some have stock engines. Others have lightened flywheels, crank pulleys, strut bars, roll cages, full interior, no interior, stock exhaust, straight pipes, idle raised to 1k.
Some people drive their cars once a month. You said yours is a daily.
There's way too many threads on this topic.
Bottom line. poly mounts will vibrate. Way more than stock. Even drone
Stock mounts are rubber, stock mounts have hollows.
Poly mounts are harder and solid.
Get the softest durometer because it will be more than enough. Unless you're building a 900 hp drag car.
Yes, they break in and get softer. But never like stock, not even close. And in cold weather they'll feel just like new again.
Yes, bolts can back out from the vibration.
Yes, there's performance benefit, but is the discomfort really worth the 1/4 second
People will come in here and say that 80a is not bad, some will say 60a is not bad, some 60a will be hell.

Get some window weld and fill your front/rear torque mount and transmission mount. The engine mount literally does nothing but hold it. That's why it has the weakest design. t also transmits most of the nvh. That's why it's the weakest design and or liquid fllled.

Thanks for the information, I would like to try to maintain as minimal vibration as possible and the innovative mounts (not sure which ones) rattle the hell outta the car. These mounts were installed when I purchased the car, it already had the b20 and hydro trans. The past owner did not daily drive the car, so I’m trying to transition it into a fun commuter. I’m assuming the lower the # the softer the mount so I’ll shop a bit to find 60 of lower.

Contact your mounts’ manufacturer about replacing the mount inserts with a softer durometer material. Might be cheaper for you, but you’d need to send in your current mounts.

The mounts are chrome with red inserts. And I have the 3 post driver side mount.
I didn’t know if you could use stock mounts for the swap to a b20. I’ll look into it.
