What is the best manual out there for repairs/specs ect... Is haynes really good?
I have a 93 del sol with a motor from a 99 civic (d16 vtec)

Basically a manual that will give me step by step instructions for everything.. including replacing a head gasket, rebuilding the motor..ect...

X3 for helms...the problem is that since you have a hybrid car...you'll need a manual for the 92-95 civics for your chassis and a manual for 96-00 civics for your engine. If I were you I would probably buy the manual for my 92-95 civic, and then find an online version of the helms for your engine.

The Helms is hands down the best you can buy. It is what Honda Factory Trained techs use everyday, and was written by Honda engineers. It has the most complete and detailed info. on the individual vehicle systems (e.g. manual trans. repair, cylinder head and engine repair, etc.). The ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual) that accompanies the manual for your vehicle has the most detailed and accurate schematics out there too.
