whats the color of your car?if its white, silver or black i would say JDM CTR headlights, or just some smoked stock lights. any other color, just clear stock lights.

Re: Best looking headlight for 96-up Civic (ITR632)
In one mag a couple months ago there was this white civic coupe with these phatty projectors, that ive never seen anything like. They were all clear, with a rectangle light, a circle then another circle for L/R blinker. Ive never seen them on any other car or in any ads, but they looked similar to the Projectors on Nissan Silvias, except they were the 96-00 civic shape of course.

I'd say black housing non CTR headlights. Granted CTR's look great, but i don't see spending all that cash for them. I know, i'm going to hell for saying that. I plan on getting these for my black civic in a week.

Re: Best looking headlight for 96-up Civic (xivera)
where'd you get your lights from xivera? the only thing i DON'T like about those lights is that they remind me about the ones from nopi i've seen around (did he say NOPI?!) they're clear and everything, but the outter plastic piece has some weird color to it...those ones pictured above look like they have that weird coating

You'll have to look around to find that setup. The set above has an ion coating on the lens that gives it that color. I don't know of anyone that sells the black housing without the ion coating. I figured if i ever get tired of them, i'll pop open the casing and install my factory lens on it.
Oh yah, I like the CTR's, but i can think of a lot better ways to spend $500.

Re: Best looking headlight for 96-up Civic (RacerXI)
you think those would look good on EBP Si's?? or should i stick with clear ones? i cant seem to find clear ones with ion lens. just clear lens. clear with ion lens would be perfect i think.
My head lamps are phucked up from my accident. don't wanna spend too much on OEM ones.
BTW. are you sure those have ion coating on them?? cause i went to the auto dynamic web site and it was labeled as "clear lens" rather than ion lens.

I'm almost certain man. I'm from ClubSi too. Search over there for gok and check his personal web page. He had those headlights on his EBP for a while. They looked good IMO. I'm personally ordering those headlights in about a week, so i could tell you if they have the ion coating on them in about 2 weeks. HTH

i do like the clear lenses better than the ion ones...ad one more question, did you guys have to reseal any of the headlight adhesive when you got them? i had a pair about a year and a half ago (forgot the brand) and they fogged up within a week!

Well if you do have a 96 to 98, I hate to be the breaker of bad news but those lights shown won't even fit. I think 99-00 have less to worry about, the head light looks much nicer. As far as 96-98, there is a lot to worry about... I would either get CTR (If you can afford it) or just stick to OEM. ANything else usually looks gay.

Re: Best looking headlight for 96-up Civic (ek_mr5)
im doing the 99 conversion...so i'm debating over buying stock Si lights for $125 from a friend, or just getting those...that's why i wanted to know if there's any problems with leaks in them (i'm sorry, i didn't tell you guys about the conversion first, maa bad!)

I like the black housing headlights... however, I wouldn't spend more than junker prices for your housings.
Here's what I would do.
1) Just by some cheap headlamps.
2) crack em open and paint the housings yourself using high temp paint.
3) seal em back up
4) drive around looking like you have CTR headlamps, when you just modded some of the stockers on the cheap!
if you need directions just let me know. There are a ton of places on the net where you can find out how to do it easily.
my $0.02
