Best Lighting without HIDs?
What are some ways i can get better light without going with HIDs? What halogen bulbs should i look into? And are there any other ways to get more light?

There's qyite a few companies that make a decent looking upgraded bulb that looks better than stock and give off more light. I still have Polarg on my Accord for the past 2.5 years, not once have they blown.

My friend sells Headlight Booster Kits which will greatly save your stock harness from melting/shortening out while using those high Wattage bulbs.

I had the kit on my car and it made a WORLD of a difference. I also used Phillips 85 Watt bulbs (no color).
I was right next to a Lexus IS300, with HIDs on, and it was ALMOST just as bright.

They go for $60 a kit. Well worth the investment if you want to stay stock and not get HIDs

Def. go PIAA Xtreme Force...I have had 2sets of them...one in my old car (totaled) and a set in my new car...Closest to HID that I have ever used! Best $70 ever spent!

silverstars dont last too long tho. they even say on their site that the average life is about a year. my gf had it on her accord and right at about a year they popped!
im sporting my own gold bulbs that i sale
but as far as better lights for a good price that last, sylvannia xtra vision will get my vote.

Did what ever die on me? PIAA Bulbs are made to last...as long as you dont touch them or get water in your headlight (like most xenon bulbs), they will last forever...I know a couple of guys that have had their PIAA's for 2-3 years without them fading or blowing out! Great investment!

They're 4000k an the color is nearly white. Click the link above and look at the last picture. Real Xenon is 4500k. And the best: This bulbs are 12V and 60/55W, not that 100W-sh*t. Quality is very good and a long lifetime guaranteed

Is that harness really necessary though? I thought the bulbs 'convert' the stock wattage to a higher wattage. If that's the case, then the oem harness should be fine. Again, I'm asking though, I'm not positive.

I'm running some yellow bulbs I picked up off ebay a few years ago. Night and day difference. Especially in the snow/rain/fog. Yellow doesn't reflect as much as blue does so you get better visibility during shitty weather. And they're legal on top of that. I don't remember the company that makes 'em but they came with a lifetime warranty.
