id just get a stock d16y8, that will bolt right up and take out your car, i dont think a aftermarket header is going to help you much

Kamikaze makes a header for your specific application and so does Megan Racing i believe. you'll need a new header n cat combo unless you wanna run cat-less. bu then you'll need to convert to obd1

i though you can just throw the cat on after the head and all you need to do is extend the wiring for the O2 sensor? correct me if I'm wrong though.
you can also try here

i believe the specially made headers are shorter so that you can use a cat. as with the stock dx/cx/lx headers , the cat is actualy apart of the header. I too could be wrong. this may apply to just hatchbacks.

on my y7 i'm running a dc 4-2-1 header for an ex and an ex cat so everything works fine, just extended the o2 sensor wiring as needed.

No sir, that was with a Y8 tranny. The Y7 is back on though, and the Y8 is in the basement waiting for someone to buy it.
