Best head for mini-me?
i see in alot of threads that state the heads that u can use for a mini me
d16y8 d16z6 and jdm d15b
i wa wandering which head would be best overall performance / fuel economy (sounds weird but closest gas staion is 30 min) or are all of these heads so close to being equal it doesnt even matter which one i choose.
ive looked a bit, saw that since the jdm d15b is made for the 1.5 block it would be best. but i like to hear the opinions from HT, because you guys know your ****
im running a d15b7 in my 93 lx
thanks for the help

Re: Best head for mini-me? (93egsedan)
I would stick with the d15b or the z6 head, because they are both OBDI and converting would be a bitch and half. Plus, the z6 flows better than the y8, I'm not sure about the d15b though. I suggest the z6 head cause they are a dime a dozen and a good head. But use a y8 intake manifold.

y8 will give you slightly higher compression ratio. but there is a little more wiring/vaccum lines to deal with.
y8 is definitely the best intake manifold though
