I was making slightly more power than you with an LS turbo. I lasted quite long on my ACT 4 puck with the Heavy Duty pressure plate. I don't know why yours lasted such a short time. Mine went at least 10K miles when I took it apart. The clutch disc was in pristine condition, the flywheel was not.

If you want to stay away from the unsprung pucked discs, try going with one of their street discs, but mated with an Xtreme pressure plate to hold the extra torque.
